It is with great sadness that I post: Madera had her litter last night. There was only one survivor that I spent all night with and is holding on by a thread. Forgive me as I have been up all night and will not want to talk about this experience as it brings tears to my eyes.
update: we lost the last one
I was up at Westminster and did not even know that Maria requeted the following breeders certificate from Durham KC for titles earned in 2010! Boch is not yet 3 years old and he and Maria Walker have obtained 20+ titles per year in the last 2 years! Talk about versitle, he has agility, obedience and herding titles this past year. Thanks for letting me be joyous over their accomplishments.
Jordan Rhodes adopted Chips after he obtained his Championship and fathered several litters. Chips was a wonderful dog that is Gilly’s brother. It is sad that he is gone but my heart smiles knowing that his last years were spent in quality time at a loving home where he touched so many lives. Jordan, a wonderful author and actor, wrote this short story that he is sharing with us to say goodbye to his friend. Click here to read and see what a show dogs retirement is like. Ruger is a Bogie x Rebound son and the family sent a whole set of pictures and videos; I wish I had room to post all!
