This is a line breeding on V-1, BIS, BISS, Sel Am CH Tobant’s Grant (a Westmister BOB winner and #1 Rottweiler in 1991 through 1993) through his son that produced several top 10 dogs, Multiple BISS/Select 1 Amer/Can. Ch. Serrants Bannor, CD .

Yes, all the ET pups have gone to their new homes and are getting used to new people and new toys. What an exciting time for all. Pictures were taken by Linda before they went home and she has a much better camera than I do. Enjoy! She has also set up a display of some of the pups on her site;

Presenting the ET x Babe litter. This video was taken yesterday, but I just was swamped here. Happy 2010!

The good and the bad. Bad news is that Sweetie is not pregnant. We don’t know if she resorbed or was just fat, but there are no babies there.

The good news is that Babe is huge! The sire, ET (Ch. Redyre Choice v. Eternal Moon CGC), has had several litters of 12 puppies + and I think this is another dozen to add to his resume of large litters. They are due Jan 2-4, so no big New Years parties here! Within the information on the Babe litter, it is worth pointing out that this pedigree boasts health as well as an all champion pedigree through great grandparents. The pedigree includes many of our breeds greatest dogs. Ch. Redyre’s Choice v. Eternal Moon (aka ET) was bred to
Ch Windrift’s Broadway Babe and is confirmed pregnant and due January 2th, 2010.

And not to be outdone, is Penny with her 5 Ice puppies at 2 days old:

Ch Windrift’s Broadway Babe leased to Jim Owens of Drydock Rottweilers and bred, to Ch. Cammcastle’s Valentino v QR View image. Babe’s 10 puppies (7 girls and 3 boys) from Drydock Rottweilers are doing great. I took this video before going to visit a friend and family over the 4th, but encountered technical difficulties getting it to the website. So this is their video at 1 day of age. The 2 week video is in process and will likely be up later this week.

For those that intend to get a pup from this litter the approx date of pick up will be August 11th since she was late in her delivery.

While we were driving home, Penny delivered on my poor pet sitter 5 pups from her breeding to Ice. Yes, they were early (why me?) Ch SilverHill’s Ice was bred, to SilverHill’s Loose Change aka Penny. Photos and videos will be coming later this week, so stay tuned!

Just a quick announcement since I need to get to NY to visit a friend or two. Ten puppies… 7 f, 3 m Doing great. Bellies full (plenty of milk already!) and are beginning to poop! Babe xrayed all clear. She is eating and pottying.

Unfortunately, neither pup survived the first week. Apparently their development was not enough to sustain life.

SHE IS PREGNANT! Ch SilverHills Madera was bred to V-1 Ch Hutsch vom House Birk, SchHIII, AD, Gekort bis Eza - (frozen semen) on Jan 22, 2009 with pups due date March 26th and going home at 7 weeks puts the date as around late May. In 1998 Hutsch is one of only 3 males that passed the lifetime Korong in Germany.

Here are the 4 week pictures added to the 6 from the last slide show. This is their first time on the table, so they did not like being that far off the floor without arms around them.

The pups are growing fast. I can feel little teeth poking through and they are walking - or something resembling walking. Here is a still and when they are awake and staggering about, I will try to get another video to share:

I wanted to share the sound that Kiss makes when sleeping. I have monitors for the room set up and this is the noise I hear all day long, unless a pup makes a whine. I am sure many of my pet-friends have heard this in their houses. So click on the video and listen.

My Christmas present came early, 2 boys and 3 girls - enjoy

Kiss is waiting for her pups to come, and she is huge. I tried to take a picture through the glass, but it did not work well. The other pictures do not show how big she really is as she is hiding her belly. I am accepting deposits on the Shaka litter now as I think there may be more puppies than I expected.

The Broker x River pups are now getting to the age of leaving the bedroom and experiencing the living room. Black Friday is usually for everyone going shopping. I stay home and play with puppies. Gee, I love my life!

River had 3 girls and 1 boy! It is a small, but happy litter, and River is loving being a mom.

Sorry this was taken at night and there is not enough light to see what I wanted to show. I will try again when I can move them outside.

The Katy pups were born the day after the Penny pups. And to make sure she out did her kennel mate, Katy had 11 pups. 6 boys and 5 girls. Off to bottle feed!

Penny had 9 puppies today from noon to 2:30pm. 5 girls and 4 boys are all doing well. Happy Birthday babies! We had fog, sun, sun showers, rainbows, thunderstorms and severe weather warnings today. It eaven knocked out the x-ray machine at the vets office. So this is my ‘weather’ theme litter.

This is the Shaka x Kiss pup now called SilverHill’s Fancy Pants (AKA Tasha) who lives with Judy Dudley in CA and gets along great with her 9 month old American Bulldog, Mojo. They have eaten from the same bowl since day one, and if she tries to separate them they will both gravitate to the same bowl. At the first sound from her, Mojo runs to check on her and moves between them if she scolds her and tell her no, so he’s a good big brother for her. Tasha puts her front feet into the water bowl, and will then stick her face in the water and blow bubbles from her nose! She has never seen that done before, and I certainly wouldn’t expect it from a Rotti. Tasha then pulls her head out of the bowl and slings water everywhere!

She’s settled in nicely, and we really enjoy her. Enjoy the pictures of the two of them.

Kiss has proven herself in the ring and now as a mom. Her first litter by BISS Ch Carter’s Noble Shaka Zulu is a pedigree
that took generations to build, and the rewards will be in the ring. The depth of muzzle, size of back skull, and stop indicate that these pups have the head I am looking for. Unfortunately, at coming 3 weeks of age, we only have 1 male and 3 females, but they are fat and happy as you can see while they play in the water and food. What a mess! They are big active pups and look very good. Tails will be docked today and projected time for their arrival at their new homes is after July 12th. Pictures coming in the next few days.

Kiss is verified pregnant! Hurray! We will know about River 4/25 as the vet ran out of test kits. Can you imagine that.

We have been doing a lot of socializing of Mr. Lone Man and it has been suggested that a mirror would give him the opportunity to see other puppies. I think he just likes looking at himself:

He is growing well as there is an unending supply of goat milk. The little guy will definately have rib spring!

We lost one of the puppies. It is heart breaking.

Meme is getting more milk and more relaxed with the whole process, of course, just in time to do tails. They will really take off in growth rate soon. I put a ball with them, but then realized it could be any sized ball. So I also included a can of milk so that you can have a frame of reference as to how little they are. This is why some moms roll over on the pups and never know. Now if I put the ball in each time you can see their progress.

Meme had her C-section this morning and had 3 males. We are busy working with them, but will get some pictures soon!

This was taken on the 18th, but I needed to find the time to get it up. These are the Broker x Sweetie pups learning to eat from a bowl.

There are 2 females and 4 males availble at this time.

yes, 11 puppies born Christmas eve eve.There were 4 girls in the clan. All 11 are well, although 2 of the boys had a rough first few days. We are very busy with these new kids, but they are just beautiful! Sweetie is the ultimate mom and Broker is very proud.

The Madera pup pictures were sent thanks to one of the puppy people that came to visit on Dec 4th. Thank you guys! Realize that the marks on their coats are liquid paper. This litter is so consistent I have difficulty telling them apart from a distance.

Good sunny morning:

Good Sunday morning! The pups are all fed this morning (bottle fed), but mom sat in the box before I could get back with the camera. So, sorry, there is an icky spot on the blanket. Below the video are some still shots. Later today we will be giving them worming medicine and cutting nails. So these little guys have a big day planned.

Ch Windrift’s Katy Cruel is confirmed pregnant. They are due the end of September. Shaka is the sire!

The insemination for a litter due for late October birth has taken place and is Ch. SilverHill’s Make My Day (Clint) bred to Ch SilverHill’s Madera . No, we are not abusing an old dog. Clint is still alive and well in New York, but we used frozen semen that was collected prior to his being neutered. It will be 30 days before we can confirm pregnancy.

There has been tremendous interest in both litters. I wanted to let you know that I have begun to accept deposits, if you want a puppy from these litters you should contact me as soon as possible. New owners should fill out the application, and I will contact you.

The Gilly pups were born April 16.

Ch SilverHill’s Madera gave birth to her pups sired by Ch Rustic Acres For All Time RA CD beginning at 9:50 pm and finishing at 5:15 am. We have 6 boys and 5 girls. Sorry if I do not call each of you, but I am barely coherent as it is. I will actually be sleeping all day. All are well and Madera is proving to be the terrific mom that her mother, grandmother, great grand mother and great great grand mother were. And with 11, thank God! There is no white, no rear dew claws.

She is HUGE!!! Litter is due April fool’s day. Looks like her basket ball has turned into watermellon!
